One of the best guitarists in Chicago is Joel Paterson. He also a terrific steel player. He's a member of the Cactus Blossoms (playing steel guitar) and can be seen in the end credits of episode 3 (or 4) of the new Twin Peaks. He also has an enviable guitar collection.

Rather than posting a hundred videos, I invite you to watch some of his videos on YouTube. Prepare to be jealous.
