Err... admittedly not much in common with what has been mentioned so far, though I do like much of it, this number has to be the top for me at the moment. Ever since they released Paracletus I've been on a recurring DSO kick.

Fovea Hex is an excellent choice, Pulver. I am still saving up money to buy the collection.
Anton Barbeau has been in regular rotation 'round here for a while now, and I think this is my favourite song of his (at least of the ones available on YouTube): Awfully good latter-day psych-pop in the vein of Robyn Hitchcock. | |||||||||||

Lately I've been getting a lot of amusement out of Pete Seeger's version of "Little Boxes." I'm not sure I like the smugness of the song, as though there's no such thing as counterculture conformism, but it is very clever and funny.
