Last TV show you watched

This thread seems appropriate instead of hijacking other threads.

watched the first two episodes of Wayward Pines earlier, pretty solid show so far. Getting a Lost meets Twin Peaks vibe.

Re: Last TV show you watched

I'm enjoying Wayward Pines as well.
I watch too much television (through Hulu and Netflix), and the very last show I watched was Last Booth On The End. The main character is captivating, said booth is the only location, and I can't recommend it highly enough...having seen only the first of two seasons, and knowing this Hulu Original was discontinued after the second season.

Re: Last TV show you watched

I'll be sure to check Last Booth on the End out. I looked up the wikipedia and it seems interesting.

Today I watched:

Wayward Pines S01E03
Night Gallery S03E07 & S03E08

Re: Last TV show you watched

I really love WAYWARD PINES and have watch'd ye first episode twice. I am spending this week watching all 12 episodes of AQUARIUS, a detective series that includes ye story of Charles Manson and stars David Duchovny.

Game of Thrones. One of my biggest obsessions these last few years.

Indeed. Outer Limits, Twilight Zone and Night Gallery never get old for me.

Wayward pines has been pretty fantastic so far. I checked out Aquarius after your post, I had heard of it but had no idea what it was about nor that Duchovny was in it. I enjoyed the pilot immensely, the second episode not so much. Soundtrack is nice. I'll continue onward and see how it goes. Would like to hear your thoughts on it after ye finish it. I'll most likely no doubt finish it whether it ends up being good or bad. I could watch Duchovny in anything.

I have a love/hate relationship with the show but I continue to watch it every week. At times it reminds me of being forced to watch daytime soap operas with my mother as a kid, waiting on her to give up the tv, other times it's enjoyable.

As for today I'm nearly through Hannibal season 2. Enjoying it much more than season 1. I have to say this is probably my favorite show going at the moment.

Re: Last TV show you watched

Hannibal season 3 just started, amazing first episode - very arty and abstract for your usual season openings and, apparently, same will apply for whole third season. Baroque-overdose.
Best show since Riget.

Re: Last TV show you watched

I'm watching a show called sense8 on Netflix, created by J. Michael Straczynski and the Wachoswki siblings – each of whom are very clumsy artists but at least seem to try harder than the average showbiz personnel to say something with their work.

The show so far has had as many misfires as it has had hits, but I'm enjoying how unabashedly pretentious some of the sequences are, and it gains points for one of the few decent portrayals of a trans woman I've seen in a TV show. Not a great show so far, and at times sickeningly cheesy, but under the blandness of many elements it is at least trying to do something interesting. I'll stick with it, I guess.
