US tanks arrive in Germany to help Nato defences - BBC News

Jan. 20th can't come soon enough.
Mischief, mischief. Whatever comes from these rushed actions, you own it, Obama.

Re: Trump

Sexism? The way he talks about treating women. Multiple claims against him for sexual harassment and rape. Just like Bill Clinton but more openly sleazy.

Racism? The way he talked about Mexicans.

He and his party's stance on climate change is one of the biggest things people don't talk about nearly enough.

Net neutrality. Again, it's shocking how little people talk about this. This one might have many of his fans turn against him.

Oh and everything else about him.

Re: Trump

I guess Obama never thought of using those tanks against Isis.
Some folks never tire of a good war. The old one got boring, we need a new one to get us through
We learned nothing from Iraq. Well, not true. We learned how to create Isis.

I think you should have voted if you think one outcome is worse than another. I don't like Hillary at all but most of the time we don't get the luxury of a good candidate. Someday our choice might be between two absolute monsters worse than Trump, but as long as there is a slightly less awful option, you vote for it so your country will be slightly less awful.

The system might be broken but I think everyone has a responsibility to vote for the better outcome even if it's not much better. People's lives and wellbeing are at stake.

Re: Trump

I'm in an odd position in that whilst I'm sort of ambivalent about Obama and dislike Clinton, I still find that most of what I read about them from the right seems to be conspiracy nonsense not addressing their actual flaws as part of a system subservient to the interests of big business. Robert M. Price is guilty of this. It's odd that so many avowed 'sceptics' fell for such phatic banalities from a huckster.

I think a lot of people are going to be feeling very silly in the future.

Re: Trump

I lived through much of the Cold War. Most of the members here missed most of the fun and games. If Obama gets what he wants--nothing so sore as a wounded ego!--you may well have a great learning experience in front of you.

The joke here is most Liberals and NeoCons agonized that Trump would plunge the world into War.
Wrong again.

Re: Trump

Obamacare is a sort of worst of both worlds compromise for what should be a nationalised healthcare system available to people regardless of income – similar to my country.

Okay. Let's see how stolid Trump responds to a terrorist attack or threat during his tenure.
