Re: Sarob Press
My copy of Seven Ghosts and One Other arrived this week too. I haven't delved into it yet, but it looks quite intriguing. I've never read any of C.E. Ward's work, so I don't really know what to expect.
My main criticism about the layout of the book is that I find the font a little bit too small. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'm worried that it is going to strain my eyes when I get around to reading this book.

C.E. Ward is a difficult figure to discover anything about. I've searched the web and can't find an internet presence for this writer.

Re: Sarob Press
I received my copy of DARK SHADOWS FALL by Mark Nicholls today, and it looks like a wonderful book with some very eerie artwork.

Re: Sarob Press
It seems Dark Shadows Fall is actually sold out at the publisher now, but will be available shortly from some third party retailers (there's a list on their latest blog post).

Re: Sarob Press
TLO. I read a brief description of the type of stories it contains and it sounds like it would appeal to me. Does anyone have links to the cover art, interior art (if any) and some reviews? Thanks

Re: Sarob Press
I thought the following TOC might be of interest to those many fans of Reggie Oliver and Mark Valentine on this board. The anthology is provisionally pencilled-in for this Autumn from Sarob and includes the winner (Christopher Harman) and the runners-up from the latest short story competition run by the Ghosts and Scholars M.R.James newsletter (the remit was to write a prequel or sequel to any James tale).
I myself am looking forward very much to reading the Louis Marvick and Peter Bell contributions and the scurrilous work of J.L. Probert is always entertaining. There is also a story from a certain Mr John lurking in there amongst the luminaries – but don’t let that put you off! "Alberic de Mauléon" by Helen Grant ("Canon Alberic's Scrap-book") "Anningley Hall, Early Morning" by Rick Kennett ("The Mezzotint") "The Mezzotaint" by John Llewellyn Probert ("The Mezzotint") "Quis est Iste" by Christopher Harman ("Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad") "The Guardian" by Jacqueline Simpson ("The Treasure of Abbot Thomas") "Between Four Yews" by Reggie Oliver ("A School Story") "The Mirror of Don Ferrante" by Louis Marvick ("Casting the Runes") "Fire Companions" by Mark Valentine ("Two Doctors") "Of Three Girls and of Their Talk" by Derek John ("Wailing Well") "The Gift" by C.E. Ward ("The Experiment") "Malice" by David A. Sutton ("The Malice of Inanimate Objects") "Glamour of Madness" by Peter Bell ("A Vignette")
