Edgar Allan Poe and I

Edgar Allan Poe and I have something in common:

We were both born on January 19th, he exactly 150 years (to the day!) before me on January 19, 1809. D.F. Lewis just pointed that out to me. I was born on January 19, 1959.

My story NOWHERE TO GO was published by PS PUBLISHING in a book titled POSTSCRIPTS #14 in England in 2008. Let me know if you've read it. I self-published eight short stories on audio-cassette in 1999 titled, fittingly, BARRY WOOD'S SHORT STORIES. And a few other short stories in little obscure publications -- which I forget their titles.

Re: Edgar Allan Poe and I

I'll add to the cycle of synchronicity. I named my daughter Millicent Annabel Poe just two short years ago. The middle name, of course, was derived from "Annabel Lee". The family name being a strange twist of fate which I wholly appreciate, you see.

Dr. Bantham:

If you had a son you could have called him Edgar Allan with your famous last name.

That would have been a trite too much, I fear. I do have a son, and his name is Seth Addison.

Good choice of names. Has a ring to it.

"And into his dreams he fell...and forever."
