Re: Black Swan

Based on the favorable reviews and my infatuation with the lovely Natalie Portman I shall come out of hibernation for this one!

Re: Black Swan

Looking forward to this. We'll see it in Athens at the end of the month. To me ballet dancers are the most divine creatures. Such beauty and harmony..Have seen the trailer of the film and i bet it will be sublime. Ballet and Aronofsky! What a combination )))))))

Oh and since we're talkind about ballet, if you travel to Athens this April Maya Plisetskaya is performing at the 14 and 15 of the month!!

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream..

Re: Black Swan

I was invited to see this in the cinema by my colleagues, but I'm happy I refused as I later found out that they brought large quantities of alcohol and used the film as just another 2 h stop in a pub crawl.
They later said that the film sucked!

Hmm, no wonder.

What is it with people going to cinema these days? Whenever I watch an interesting film on a big screen I truly despise the experience. I seriously prefer my 40 inch screen. The last time I enjoyed one in the cinema was Pirates of the Caribbean. This film as least was loud enough to prevent me from listening to all the popcorn being crunched and people talking.

So, with Black Swan... I'll wait for DVD.
