I simply consider it a very dubious proposition that you'd be prepared to assimilate ideas that run counter to your own philosophical perspective. When one forms an objection to a great (Japanese) writer, as you did, in terms of dehumanising abuse (i.e., your references to "swinishness"), it scarcely augurs well for the open-mindedness or intellectual acumen of said poster. It indicates a closed-minded person with whom it is not worth debating.
You may "take" whatever fantasy conclusions you wish from the above response. I would expect nothing else. It's the level to which political discourse has descended in the 21st Century. Mere invective. Yours etc. Mark S. |
