Chomu Press
It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to start a Chomu Press thread here, especially with Chomu's second book now in the offing.
Here's some information on that book: http://chomupress.com/our-books/fort...h-tastes-like/ Other books are in the pipeline, and I do believe that many of them will be of interest to TLO members. Please watch this space, etc. Thank you.

Re: Chomu Press
I had hoped to celebrate the arrival of Dadaoism today, but Amazon, after taking forever to get it back in stock, provided me a damaged copy, so the celebration was muted. On the other hand, I read a large chunk of The Secret Life of the Panda at lunch today, so overall it was a good day so far as matters Chômu were concerned.

Re: Chomu Press
Amazon's book packaging practices have been atrocious for the past couple of years. It almost appears as though they are attempting to get out of the book business altogether by way of intentional sabotage. They used to shrink wrap books to over-sized backing boards which were matched to the appropriate box dimensions that allowed the boards to become fixed to the bottom of the box. This typically insured that the books would arrive in pristine condition. These days they arrive without any protection whatsoever. Bare books freely sliding around and bumping the interior (and other books), with no wrappings or filler materials added. Horrific indeed!

Re: Chomu Press
There should be news up about the Reggie Oliver book relatively soon. The Mark Samuels book will take longer to come out, as it is not yet in its final form. Sorry this information is so scant, but more news will appear on the website as and when.
Thanks to Evans for posting the links, and to everyone else for the interest.

Re: Chomu Press
As am I Corman. Brendan's work is oddly under regarded. His recent book, Metrophilias, is a modern Decadent classic (I don't just mean this in terms of corrupt and deviant beauty but also in the sense of the mystical the Symbolist Movement tried to convey) and I would be happy to recommend any other of his books merely on the strength of that collection.
