Two Tracks from Ligotti's THE UNHOLY CITY Uploaded to TLO
Two tracks from Thomas Ligotti's THE UNHOLY CITY have been uploaded to the Media section of TLO. "The Name Is Nothing" and "No One Knows The Big News", as with all media contained therein, are available for real time audio streaming.
These songs were available on the compact disc packaged with the screenplay of CRAMPTON, and were inspired by the story. Ligotti wrote, performed the spoken word vocals and played all instruments on these tracks. SPOILER ALERT Some people may find it disconcerting to hear Ligotti's voice. I initially had this problem, as it briefly conflicted with my own inner voice which I "hear" when reading his stories. Many people also hold the same aversion to seeing his image, which is quite rare to find. You make the journey at your own discretion. | |||||||||||

My story NOWHERE TO GO was published by PS PUBLISHING in a book titled POSTSCRIPTS #14 in England in 2008. Let me know if you've read it. I self-published eight short stories on audio-cassette in 1999 titled, fittingly, BARRY WOOD'S SHORT STORIES. And a few other short stories in little obscure publications -- which I forget their titles.

You know, considering your title, it is quite ironic that you are currently one of our most prolific posters. I still can not get over the fact that you are only thirteen. Ironically, I find this more intimidating than you obviously do.:lol: Apparently, access to the Media section is the most prevalent compatibility issue within this site. It is something I will be concentrating on very soon, however there are a few other tasks on the list which I must first address. In the meantime, please outline the exact nature of the problem when you attempt to stream the audio and provide your system configuration. By this, I need to know how the site responds to your attempts and exactly what platform, operating system and browser you are using. Have you tried Mozilla's FireFox for the Mac? It may be worth a try... Please post the details of any problems encountered to Miscellanea - Technical Information - Error Reports and Problems. | |||||||||||
