Display modes - how do you reverse the post sequence in a thread?

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.

The default display mode lists the latest posts in the thread first and the first post last. This is fine most of the time, but when you're reading a long thread for the first time, it's cumbersome.

The threaded (and hybrid) modes reverse the posts, but it also seems to leave out some of the posts for some reason. I'd like to see all the posts without having to click on individual posts in the thread.

Is there a way to display the first post first and subsequent posts on later pages?

I hope I am making sense, otherwise, let me know.

If you are not logged in, the order of the posts is reversed. I don't know if that helps.

Go to USER-->USER CONTROL PANEL-->EDIT OPTIONS-->THREAD DISPLAY OPTIONS
Or, if you are logged in click on this link and scroll down until you see the thread display options:
User Control Panel - Edit Options
You can reverse the order for all future viewing, as well as plenty of other swell tricks.
