Whomever is your favourite artist?

I'd already posted many of my favorites when I was more active on here. Multiple times now I've tried to post pics by Suguru Tanaka because his work strikes me as incredibly similar, albeit in a strictly visual sense, to that of Ligotti, Kafka, and Burroughs. Sigh, I'll just have to show the tumblr instead, my Mac doesn't interact well with this site.

At this point, my favourite artists are those i can talk to.
The artists i share a studio building with at locatieZ are incredibly smart interlocutors that teach me a lot about making art, even though i may or may not personally like their work (which in itself is something i learned). The artists whose work i have been incredibly lucky to encounter in the 11 years of running Baracca : BARACCA. The gents and ladies over at the EATEN BY DUCKS & les cadavres exquises

Many of the other, more distant 'favourite' artists, i have internalized to such an extent that i really wouldn't be able to say if William Blake is my favourite artist or if my interpretation of him is my favourite artist, for example.
