I've started Haibane Renmei on account of Yo####oshi ABe (Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze) being attached to the project. It's decidedly his most conventional project, a sort of slice of life in a fantasy setting, but hopefully it picks up speed. The character designs and animation are great, of course, as is the music.

Today is the 50th anniversary of DARK SHADOWS. In honour, I rewatched the very first episode from back in 1966. I have also downloaded the two hour audio drama released today in tribute. Good so far.
I adore this show. I have seen all 1200+ episodes bar the missing one (which I heard a reconstruction of). |

I'm also watching random episodes of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. If only I had an art teacher like this beautiful man then maybe I would have never dreaded making a piece of art.
I think I will experiment with pastel and ink art soon myself, in a style heavily influenced by David (ApocalyptickPickNick) Tibet. |

I watched the first two episodes of Stranger Things last night. I like it and I am hooked, but it is not as good as almost everybody say it is. I will probably watch The Leftovers after this.
