I think I have totally lost my mind by this point and anything I read into films and literature are my own obsessions, I don't believe I clearly understand this movie, but did anyone else notice :
the ghost haunting the woman after her car accident is her own husband, right? A lot of people I've spoken with about this movie don't seem to get this. The offering bowl of worms at the end of the movie, reconciling her son back with the father, healing the tired relationship with the mother, is a deep healing. I'm not going to give the film high praise because I thought it was over long but I will say it's one of the most unique and interesting horror films I've ever seen.. reminded me of Mama by Del Toro . I would recommend this to horror fans as a must see . I have seen way worse movies. But I am a stickler over run times especially . | |||||||||||

I didn't see this coming. But it looks like everyone is having fun, including the Babadook, so it's a win-win.
