About "The Face of Twilight"

Anyone knows (Mr. Samuels perhaps?) when will PS Publishing release the paperback edition of "The Face of Twilight"? It's already April and it hasn't arrived to my mail box yet, and Shocklines still has a very vague "2006" release date.

¿?

Re: About "The Face of Twilight"

PS have advised me that my author's copies are being sent out this week, so I would imagine that orders will start being filled very shortly thereafter. I know people have had a long wait for FoT, so I hope it doesn't disappoint in the end.

But if bleakness is your bag, then I suspect you'll find that it was worth hanging on.

All best

Thanks for the answer, Mark. I'm sure it'll deliver.

Thanks gentlemen. I really appreciate your enthusiasm.

I thought, since I'm online tonight, I'd mention that ST Joshi is to give a really quite favourable review of the paperback WHITE HANDS AND OTHER WEIRD TALES in the next issue of STUDIES IN WEIRD FICTION.

Can I solicit some advice? Do you think it's worthwhile my having an author website? I've been thinking about it for a some time but cannot decide such things are a burden or a benefit.

Hi Mark. A website certainly couldn't hurt. Especially if you find an inexpensive web space provider. A simple one containing basic content of news, reviews, bio, essays, etc. would be less hassle. Or depending on how computer savvy you are you could create something more elaborate. Of course if you keep writing great stories like you have been, some rabid fan is bound to create MSO (Mark Samuels Online) for you. It's only a matter of time ;)

REALLY looking forward to your new book by the way.

Cheers!

Re: About "The Face of Twilight"

Hello Mark,

There is always the possibility to do a "MySpace" page in the interim...

I'd really enjoy a Mark Samuel Online, especially if there are some un published or out-of-print stuff available. Greedy me! I'd really enjoy having acces to 'Quayle the Bibliophile' or 'Amelia' or 'The Death of John Gregory' or 'Into The Abyss' or 'Caught In The Rain' or ...

Someone of your current and potential literary stature, Mark, should definitely have a website.

Nah, it should be a neon green page with all the text in red! Maybe some flames and a laughing skull!

Also, if you can find one, why not add a dancing hamster? It's what people want to see, after all.
