I have my doubts about that, but on the other hand I do strongly suspect that the world would be a less awful place if fewer people were willing to tell everyone else what they think "we" need.

If you read my remark as coming from an invasive desire to tell you what you need, i am sorry- i do not intend to lecture anyone on what i think is good for them; my wish was merely to augment James's remark about mysticism with a very brief encapsulation of what i - as a believer- take mysticism to be.
