Engaging Topic of the Month History Reset

After installing an upgrade for the Engaging Topic of the Month feature, the historical data for nominations and winners was corrupted. As I was not aware of the problem for some time, restoring backup data is not an option. I was forced to delete the database tables and reinstall the feature from scratch, therefore awards and nomination history have been erased. I have kept a copy of the voting totals, however, and may be able to restore awards in the future. For now, the awards system is starting from scratch. Please do not attempt to go back and re-nominate topics from past months in order to restore previous awards. Also note that I decided to remove nomination capability from all Repository content, as this feature is intended to recognize engaging threads and not vote on the popularity of stories/interviews/etc.

I misread the title of this thread as Engaging Topic of the Month History Retest. I wondered whether TLO members were to be tested on the history of Engaging Topic of the Month. It seems not. I'm not sure whether I'm pleased or disappointed. Of course, I'd receive a fail mark in the test. ;)
