Indeed, they would, Jon. Funny: As I was thinking about the new X-Files with pleasant anticipation after watching the trailer today, I reflected quite a bit on Crampton and just how truly, deeply excellent it really is. I think a reread is in order. I also still think the non-X-Files screenplay version has the potential to be turned into one of the best reality-bursting metaphysical horror/noir-type films ever produced.

I am an obsess'd fan and have ye entire series on DVD. I have ye first feature film, but not the 2nd, as I found the story boring and unimaginative. For me, the real power of the series came from its excellent and intelligent scripts.

I just cried for five minutes after watching that trailer. I also saw a halo of a white dove and also know why a sunrise is beautiful.
