An excellent tome - highly worthy of award - this work throws much light - or rather a sharper definition to the en-shadowing that encompasses, infiltrates and emanates from Thomas Ligotti's work. Congratulations!

Both it and The Thomas Ligotti reader are essential reading for anyone who really wants insight into one of the most creative and unique thinkers/writers of our time, in my opinion. Everything you ever wanted to know (almost) about the man but were afraid to ask...

Congratulations, Matt. This is great news and I bet Thomas is delighted, if such an adjective can apply to him. I believe this will help to improve the public awareness about his work.

Thanks to all for the warm and enthusiastic response to this development. I was completely unaware that the book was even being considered, so it was quite a shock when Jon sent an email alerting me to its appearance on the just-released list of nominees.

I think the nomination is surely more for Tom than for me -- and rightly so.
