A short time ago, I was sitting on my front porch steps, smoking a cigarette, tall bushes on either side of me. It was around midnight and the night was unseasonably hot. I felt like a king on his hidden throne.

A teenager walked by. Suddenly he saw me in the shadows, grabbed at his heart (honest to God!), stumbled and gasped audibly.

"Whoa, I didn't see you, man. You looked liked like a werewolf."
"Yeah, I am," II responded, "but a good one. Nothing to fear."
"Thanks, man," he said as he continued to stumble away.
True. But weird.
Weird.
Damn clown sightings.
Clowns can be unsettling and all but I wish it was a rash of werewolf sightings instead.

Really enjoyed this one. 'Shocked,' 'disturbed,' 'quite concerned.' LOL. You have to keep upping the ante. Thanks, Druidic.

Ben, they think a clown is terrifying...

My house is overrun by snakes and I cant leave | New York Post

First mice. Mice draws predators. Now all she needs is three or four cats. Some cats love small snakes. So do possums. Should minimize her problem if she doesn't mind watching them dine.

LOL. I'm sorry, but I can't empathize with Tonya. Humanity is the biggest pest there is. We unsettle the natural balance of things. If you haven't lived in a place with rats in the walls you are missing out on one of the most honest aspects of life. My cats used to go crazy. It was great fun. The ravenous scurrying on the borders of our consciousness should remind one of life's true meaning.
