A Child's Voice by David Thomson 1978

I don't know why this is described as a "lost BBC ghost story" (spuriously tying it into to those M.R. James efforts from the 70s), since it seems to be an Irish production and doesn't need gravitas by association. For my own part I think it's a homage to the broadcast readings Algernon Blackwood did in the 1940s. But what do I know? Anyway it's an excellent, rarely seen gem. Especially the ending.
