Like Nova Swing it had a bit too much quantum weirdness for my taste. It's odd that those two are the only Harrison books I don't like because they're sequels to Light which was brilliant as usual. Maybe I should give them another try though.

His latest collection (You Should Come With Me Now) is, i think it's safe to report, worth a read.
Many pieces were published on his blog before, but to see a bunch of these apparent notebook-outtakes and flash fictions juxtaposed to form something like a novel ( a better novel than most novels presented as novel) is thrilling. There is a very Cortazár-like playfulness there, & all the sharpness that you would expect from a good Late Style. As generous as it is lean.
