Horror / weird fiction: location photography
Hello, I used to subscribe to the original Ligotti email list and have been a lurker on this forum for years. I have now decided to create an account and contribute.
Some books / stories in the horror-weird-(neo)-decadent genre beg you to go out and takes photos of the locations mentioned. Here are two entries I posted: Mark Samuels - "In the Face of Twilight" and Eric Stener Carlson - “The St Perpetuus Club of Buenos Aires” Are there any other interesting attempts at this? Any suggestions for books / stories that would make for solid photographic documentation?

Hey, I see you visited Buenos Aires. One of my sisters lives in the same Coronel Díaz street; in fact, she lives three blocks from that same corner you posted.

Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.

Thank you for the link to your interesting site. Perhaps you could visit Highgate Cemetery West and try to determine which tomb (if any) served as the inspiration for the not-so-final resting place of Lilith Blake in "The White Hands"? It is a fascinating place.
