Re: Rhys Hughes

My first blog entry of 2010 includes an account of a rare astronomical phenomenon, the drawing of a cyclops on a bicycle and news about the novella I've just started writing...

Re: Rhys Hughes

This is a reconstruction of the sunset that Adele and I saw on New Year's Day. We forgot to take a camera with us at the time. As you may note in this image, the sun looks brassed off, and we are facing away from it while sitting on the bench, but both oddities are purely for the sake of expediency!

Kindly ignore the zebra-striped cloth backdrop that somehow managed to sneak into the picture on the far left! The real sky is rarely patterened in that way!

Re: Rhys Hughes

My latest blog entry can be found here... Latest Blog Entry!

It contains news about the new novel I've just finished writing; and the fact I've just sold a new book: a collection of linked tales that took 15 years to complete. Here's a picture of the pub that features in that second book. It's a wandering pub but it wasn't cursed to wander the Earth eternally; no, it also wanders throughout the universe and can even pass into parallel dimensions. Some people believe that one day it might even cross the border into England!

To make this picture, I painted the backdrop and glued a pub sign and four wheels onto a model cottage...

Re: Rhys Hughes

My latest blog entry can be found here...

It's concerned with plugging a charity anthology in which I have a story. It features three photographs of an unusual forest where broccoli trees co-exist with driftwood trees and a rare handtree (source of a particular type of palm oil).

Ptula Graark the pterodactyl helps to plug the anthology -- and also helps to plug my girlfriend's business. Enlightened self-interest the cryptozoological way...

Regards all, Rhys!

Re: Rhys Hughes

My latest blog entry is about chaps and cycles... But the chaps are pamphlets and the cycles are story-sequences. Here it is...

Here's a picture of my three chaps:

If anybody ordered any one of these but didn't receive, let me know now and I'll mail at least one to you for free, while stocks last.

Regards, Rhys!

Re: Rhys Hughes

I note your book 'Fanny Fables', Rhys.

Fascinating that I've been writing Fanblade Fables for some years. I won't leave a link to them here as this is your thread.

Good luck. des
