Re: Last TV show you watched

This month I've begun watching the first season of Hannibal. Currently up to episode 6. It's inspired me to re-read Red Dragon. Amazing how much material they incorporated from the book into the TV show, even trivial little details.

There's a funny video series of comic book characters hanging out a bar to chat about their various cinematic and TV adaptations. In this latest installment Superman, the Avengers etc meet The Walking Dead.

Re: Last TV show you watched

This one is my favorite:

Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.

Re: Last TV show you watched

Just watched all of Boardwalk Empire recently. It's become a real favourite and I think it deserved to be much bigger. The last few episodes of season 4 are incredible.
So many great characters. Michael Shannon's character is brilliant. Jack Huston as Richard Harrow is just so beautiful.

Re: Last TV show you watched

Finished watching Fargo season 2. Highly recommended both for the writing and the acting. There were some pretty good examples of mental illness and existential questions. Also, a british crime drama called "what remains", highly recommended.

"I myself have never seen the Red Tower - no one ever has, and possibly no one ever will. And yet wherever I go people are talking about it. In one way or another they are talking about the nightmarish novelty items or about the mysterious and revolting hyper-organisms, as well as babbling endlessly about the subterranean system of tunnels and the secluded graveyard whose headstones display no names and no dates designating either birth or death"

Re: Last TV show you watched

May I highly recommend "Penny Dreadful" to the audience. Season 1 was very good and I'm half way through Season 2. Extremely entertaining.
