Dear G.S.,
I've been working a lot and haven't had time to follow up your overtures of friendship. please excuse me. I work for Customs at LAX nd am also writing a screenplay. Time tends to slip through my fingers. I manage to do my paycheck work and my writing done but I usually end up sacrificing my social life to get that much done.
My name is Ken. I've been a federal Law Enforcement Officer for 18 years now. It wasn't really a goal - I didn't want to grow up and be a cop when I was 6 years old or anything like that - but the pay is all right and I won't starve when I retire. The work used to be interesting before President Bush created the Dept. of Homeland Security. Now it's as screwed up as the rest of the government.
I have to get to bed now but I'll be in touch more often

Thanks for the friendship request. I have enjoyed your many, many postings. Being lazy by nature this has saved me the trouble of having to reread Ligotti's stories as you post the essense of his works. (Just kidding. I reread Ligotti about once a year.
