  • Hey Phil,
Of course I have no reason to decline your invitation, and sorry it took so long to get back to you. I guess I had simply overlooked it or perhaps did not legitimately log in to the site. Again, sorry for the delay, sir.

Hello, Phil! Just stopping by to thank you for all you do for this site, from creating those brilliant crossword puzzles to compiling, in your posts, an ever-growing anthology of quotations from TL and other important writers. Your work is not yet done . . . Fortunately, for everyone here.
Yeas, this damn guy, listed in BURNT OFFERINGS credits simply as THE CHAUFFEUR, always brings BOC to mind for me as well. "Susie and her brother,Charles the grinning boy, put me in the backseat and took me for a ride." No! I don't NEED a ride. Another BOC song, available on the remaster of SECRET TREATIES, is called "Boorman the Chauffeur" , and details a phantasmagoric limo ride, with that damn guy probably driving.

Thanks for the comments, my friend.
GSC, Good to see a face--albeit a grizzled one--to go with your many posts. Nobody on this site looks even remotely like I thought they would.;)
Those pesky pessimistic puppets are a pestilence upon our populace and I propose a postulate that premeditated patricide permeates their pretense of pageantry.
GSC has not received any visitor messages. This will not do!!!! Hi, I thought you needed a message to brighten your day. lol
