Dear Yellowish,Thanks for the friend request. I've been so busy lately that I haven't done anything online in ages. I think that Ligotti is one of the finest short story writers around. Personally, I don't ghettoize him. I place him with Checkov, FitzGeraald and the other masters of short fiction, not just horror fiction. Maybe I'm a little better read than some of the members who seem to read only horror and fantasy fiction. Anyway, that's why I originally joined TLO.I enjpy reading your posts. I saw the series based on it as a child and it had a profound impression. It struck me as something you would like - creativity crossing the dream/reality barrier.

the series was called "Escape into night" (Black and White, very good and now I see, collected on DVD) and there is a movie I have not seen called "Paperhouse".

BTW I picked up "Sarahs House" to read the Black Hamlet which you mentioned a while back - I am looking forward to it - Cheers - AD
