LOL.
At least I know that I wasn't writing off-topic when I mentioned this mouse.

des, they are already set up; check under contagion>social groups
No need to worry, Odalisque. My comments were not directed at any one party or even side. I personally found your comments more full of wit than contempt for anyone. I took the time to read the entirety of the thread and have now decided to let things take course as they may. Albie has shown disrespectful behavior and he has received as much in kind. I assume he is either remarkably insensitive or intentionally provoking membership, therefore he will either experience no personal insult or get the rise he desires. Either way, it is a predicament of quite natural cause and effect. Therefore, I have decided that issuing Yellow Cards at this time is not appropriate, and most certainly not for anyone responding to clear provocation or in the defense of a friend. Until my mode should shift once again, all parties shall proceed as personal ethics dictate. This includes you, Albie.I have no wish to insult anyone on this board, Dr Bantham - and certainly not you, but reading your post I did wonder whether your card might be yellow because the mouse had pissed on it.
I thought that I might defuse frayed tempers with a joke, and seemed to have succeeded.
Taking the mouse business on to a consideration of a mouse caught by Schrodinger's cat perhaps re-introduced something worthy of consideration and, better yet, something cognate to the question posed by the thread title.
Thanks, Cyril. I didn't know there were any social groups here, let alone Knights of Ligotti. I have now joined it and will honour its tenets.
I consider Albie an essential salte within the body of membership and have quite enjoyed some of his posts as well. I sincerely do wish he decides to have a stay. I would prefer, however, that he remain complex and thought provoking and refrain from being simply provoking and thoughtless. Many of these fine gentlemen I consider my very close friends, and my pledge to remain neutral may falter in the face of future offenses against my brethren.Maybe it's just me, but I in fact like where this topic is going.
Albie may not had that intention, but his/her intervention gave this discussion a whole new dimension.
That's way I hope to see more of her/his posts here,
helps with my research
I officially dub thee Sir des! I will prowl garage sales in search of a round table for planning strategies and the obligatory quaff. I doubt that any of us own horses, so the clacking of coconuts will have to suffice for now...des, they are already set up; check under contagion>social groups

Sir Slawek, your addition of the photos are inspired. Thank you!I allowed myself to be knighted as well. I am honoured to learn that thanks to this thread I've simultaneously become an emissary!

My surgical skills are sharp but oblivious to discretion between benign and malignant tissue, but instead honed on the removal of the offending portion of the body. I hope everyone understands the position I am forced to take here. It is not an easy stance, but one which I feel is my duty.
