You're quite right, I'm a fan of the table top RPG MÖRK BORG and indeed as a lover of electronic/synth, dark wave music I'm sure I'll enjoy your recommendations. I've just tracked the GNOLL album down on YT Music!

To those who do not know of him, Rodriguez "Cold Fact" from 1970 is a stone classic acid folk album. He was like Dylan with balls/street cred. Everything Manson wasn't as a musician: honest, humble, hardworking, etc.

Ha, ha, I would never do that. Have strangers see I have Black Sabbath and Abba. Blue Öyster Cult and the Carpenters. Not to mention Nine Inch Nails and Puffy Ami Yumi. Perish the thought their take of me. More to the point, my time dwindles daily.
I used to keep my catalog on yellow legal paper. Now I just scan the shelves, or play "new" arrivals.
At home, everything (Rock-Pop-Soul) is alphabetical. Subdivided out Jazz and Blues and Country and International. Classical has it's own rack, although I have set vocal recitals at the end.

Well, it’s understandable that everyone has their own inhibitions. Personally, it doesn’t really affect me, especially since I have VERY few things in physical form. As for the groups you mentioned... they don’t strike me as negative. It’s actually pretty common. Or was that sarcasm? Never mind, I get your point.
 
On one hand, I am being a bit satirical. At the record store where I worked, coworkers knew I was steeped in 70's Heavy Metal, had a fondness for Girlpop, was one of the go-to Classical guys, had the best Sinatra Q, etc ... Club music, Rap, Country, Jazz, there were coworkers who were more knowledgeable.
On the other hand, I don't really want bots to know much about me. That includes those that crawl Discogs perpetually.
Used CD joints, Thrift Towns, Salvation Army, all sell music cheaply. Not necessarily vinyl which is enjoying (to me) a weird resurgence. This is also assuming you have some gear to play music on. Basic: player, speakers, power system (receiver or amp or something).
If you are curious about groups unknown to you. check out Allmusic. I was surprised they listed Current 93, not surprised there were so few reviews. BUT - registered members get to post their own!

I hadn’t taken that bot part into account... It’s less about people and more because of THE PEOPLE. I understand a little better now...

I clicked on that link only to discover that your profile is private, as it should be. Mine is private, too. I didn't realize at first that it defaults to public (I never considered the question) until someone messaged me and asked me if I'd sell them a record from my collection. That was weird. I suppose the bots are unavoidable, though. What I don't want is for individuals to be able to peruse my collection without me screening them. My address is not there, but I suppose it can't be that hard to find, if the wrong person wanted it. Record collectors are a weird bunch. And obsessed. I am one of them, though hopefully I'm in the sane cohort.
 
Hoffman Forums is another one.
Primarily for audiophiles, tube guys, they prefer you list your gear in your profile.
The rationale for that is if you are reviewing music - preferably vinyl there - they know what your equipment is.
Members with entry level Crosley turntables ain't gonna rate high.
 
I love JBL. Has anyone here used their speakers? I was given one as a gift and I absolutely love it. It’s Bluetooth, but it sounds really, really good, and the battery lasts forever. I use it at night when I’m going to sleep. I even accidentally dropped it once, and nothing happened to it.

I’ve heard that back in the last century, JBL made subwoofers and other audio equipment, and that they were really great.
 
JBL made the iconic L100 in the 1970s.

JBL has since been acquired by Harman Kardon (owned by Samsung).
The classic L100 has been updated, but a pair AIN'T CHEAP.
For what it's worth, I have a pair of JBL towers.
These are "unpowered" speakers, so you need an amp to drive them.
JBL used to offer deep sales, but it appears HK has rebranded JBL for portable, party time.
