Harry O Morris, experimental plates

Harry Morris is one of the kindest and most generous people you could ever know. I have been fortunate to receive various pieces of art from him over the years, and while it may not seem all that exciting to some, I love these little bits and pieces such as this. Also, Harry was known for designing Xmas cards and various other trinkets to mail out to friends and family. I have quite collection of such things and over time, I will post some examples in the future.

I include things like this as a way of sharing some of these items that people would likely never see otherwise, and I thought may enjoy seeing.

Harry O. Morris should put up the front cover of the Silver Scarab Press edition of SOADD on Redbubble. I bet it would sell more than a few copies. Would love to have that design on a black t-shirt. Same with his MWINYD color frontispiece.

Speaking of MWINYD, This is a piece Harry sent me many years ago when he was finalizing the wrap for MWINYD, hence the long, rectangular shape of the print. For your entertainment if such things entertain you.

The book of Harry's work that Centipede Press put out was fascinating but (in my view) in far too small a format.
If only they could reprint it at the gargantuan scale it deserves.

Yes. Then, when looking at the Lovecraft, coffee-table behemoth that was released years back, and which weighs about 30 pounds, it stands to reason that a happy medium between the two would have been nice for Harry's portfolio. I do love it, but it it really is way too small to display such brilliant work.
