Moved from the original thread as this section seemed to make more sense for this post.

Fantastic, Aeron.

Are these still available? I ask as a customer, fan, and as an errant blogger, as I'd like to feature your work and this offer at The Cosmicomicon.

Please let me know. Thanks!

Best,

T

Something I'm thinking about playing around with, I'm interested in exploring the idea of creating slightly flat diorama interpretations of my artwork. I know that my Ligotti artworks would be ideal for something like this given the layered details in the imagery. I'm not sure of materials yet but possibly foam core to build up the shapes that would then have the printed artwork literally wrapped onto it and attached in some permanent way. I'd likely cut out the shapes of the creatures and have them physically lined into the landscape, possibly print them out, cut them out and wrap them onto shapes to give them some element of dimensionality. The finished piece would likely only be 4 - 5 inches from back to front so it would be more of a bass relief with the illusion of space versus a fully three dimensional diorama set.

Look to this image of Grimscribe and I think you could imagine how amazing a diorama version of this could look. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7153/6485605389_ce0070a768_o.jpg Would anyone be interested in owning something like this?

There would be a good deal of construction involved and this would be more of a unique art piece, I'd say somewhere in the 750 - 1,000 dollar range.

All of my Ligotti artworks are on sale (25 dollars off all artworks) for the rest of the week, to anyone interested. http://aeronalfrey.storenvy.com/
I've never put anything that I've created on sale before but I thought that I would get into the spirit of things. I doubt I'll do this again anytime soon so take advantage of the discount if you have wanted any of the cover artworks at their originally created scale of 24 x 32 inches. There are details on my covers of Songs Of A Dead Dreamer, Grimscribe and Noctuary that can only be truly seen at this size.

I just received a signed copy of a first edition of Grimscribe for my birthday. You did an awesome job on the cover art - absolutely fantastic!
