TLO Post Office Box Created

NO LONGER VALID

This post office box will be utilized primarily for internal matters of correspondence and business. However, it is a quite acceptable for members or even non-registered site visitors to send letters, stories, etc. In fact, it may be quite a unique encouragement to receive confirmation of the physical existence of TLO members. After all, the online presence of site visitors could be artificial intelligence constructs set loose by Nyarlathotep to drive me further into madness, eventually initiating the creation of a black hole within the web of the internet. I have had lessor paranoias.

Since the box is limited to letter sized content, be certain to label any larger envelopes with "DO NOT BEND" on both sides if it were to be detrimental to the content for the envelope to be folded. Our fine postal employees are well trained in the art of abstract origami. If a package is larger than the box will allow, it is safely stored separately and a delivery notice is placed within the box.

Any one who wants a copy of my chapbook, Heresies, Vol. 1 may ask now :D.

If every member of Thomas Ligotti Online sent a letter or package to this mailing address, the mailbox would be stuffed. I used special Canadian stamps instead of a mailing sticker.

Pick up a pen and write. There's nothing as lonely as an empty mailbox.

Thanks, Barry. I received Barry's letter last week and I must say that it was exhilarating to receive a physical confirmation that TLO members really exist. I encourage members to write TLO directly for whatever reasons or submit material for review/posting. Packages of all sizes are accepted, as they merely tag oversized mail and place a notice card inside the box. So, if you have extra copies of TAROVFAOGT lying around, or wish to send me The Ultimate Ligotti Collectible, by all means have at it!

The Post Office Box address has been canceled for now. It was seeing infrequent usage and I had to go out of my way to check the box. It may be revived in the future. In the interim, if you have need to correspond via physical medium, please inquire via PM or email.

The Post Office Box for TLO has been reopened. Note that the box number is different from the original, but I have revised all posts accordingly.

I received the attached letter in the TLOPO Box this week. There was no return address and the phrase "I am still here" was affixed to the inside of the envelope. I believe this clue tipped me off regarding the identity of the sender, unless of course coincidence serves to drive me made in concert with the uncorrelated efforts of fate. Many thanks to you, if you are indeed "still here".

I don't exist and strongly refute any rumours to the contrary.

Hmm...I'm curious. Is the P.O. Box still in operation? I think starting a more bizarre version of postsecret, as mentioned below, is an interesting idea.

Yes, it is. We are currently accepting applications for burnt-out zealots, but would be quite happy to receive estranged curiosities from anonymous automatons.

Just as a matter of notice, the TLO post box has been closed. There really was not much in the way of activity, but the main reason is that TONS of advertisement circulars would be constantly dumped into the box and the post office does not allow one to opt out of this siege of commercialism and resource waste.
