I sought Aggeliki first, thinking that there would probably not be very many people with her name. There turned out to be ten of them, but I think I picked the right one.

I'd forgotten your surname, and it seemed likely that there would be a lot of people on Facebook called Johan. But, reminded of your surname, I've sent you a friend request.

Facebook is strange in that people don't DO much of anything there. I've tried to begin discussions, &c, and people simply do not respond. Perhaps TLO is unique in that, here, everyone is so active and creative and literary. This is an intellectual creative site that celebrates the weird in art & literature & music & cinema, &c &c. Everything else seems merely social and ho-hum.

Yep, I've been feeling increasingly disinclined to post to Facebook because people don't respond. :confused:
 
A lot of people seem to get many responses on twitter and facebook. But not me - and, apparently, not Odlaisque and Hopfrog, too, judging by what they say above. :(

I'm trying to change my email address, but every time I try to verify the new address, I receive this error message:

Occasionally I see a quotation from CATHR at the top of the main page. But the link doesn't take me to a CATHR quotation forum, as I would expect; it just connects back to the main page. The search function won't find anything from these quotes, either. I'm sure this is because we're still in pre-publication times. But I'm intrigued by the idea that there's a secret quotation forum somewhere, which occasionally yields an evanescent, untraceable quote.
