Which game is your favorite?

Bloodborne is my most favorite game of all time. It is in my opinion one of the most singular and unique gaming experiences, and a great example of video game as an art form.

Sadly, Sony has left it in utter abandonment and even never acknowledges its existence. They make remasters and remakes and remaster of remakes of the same game over again over again but doesn't even talk about Bloodborne.

It’s already dead. There’s no hope. They announced a Japanese animated film based on Bloodborne, but I don’t know if the project is still going forward. In any case, when it comes to remakes, sequels, or a PC port, everything is sadly lost because of the IP situation and the fact that they shut down the studio behind Bloodborne.

Yeah... it's just so sad. And Sony itself is not what it used to be. They don't care about "games" anymore, nor the players and what they want. Jeez the kind of stuff they are making these days and shutting down studios. They'd rather make awful decisions and shut down studios than genuinely nourish an IP in accordance with what the player base wants.

Bloodborne changed my life. I don't have a gaming PC, otherwise I'd try out the emulation. I've seen them do an insane job. It's sadly the only way this game will stay alive, or so it seems.

I would say Soma is one of my favorite games. I have not played any other game quite like it in terms of how far it leans into existential horror. It makes some interesting points in terms of the issues with replicating consciousness as a way to achieve human immortality.

My favourite game is Silent Hill 3. I love the first four Silent Hill games, but this one really made a strong impression on me. I tried playing it when I was 13 and it scared me so badly that I had to wait another 3 years before finding the courage to play again.
I hear a lot of people say that Silent Hill 2 is the real masterpiece of the franchise and I can objectively agree, but the themes of womanhood, bodily autonomy, fear of sexuality and religious hypocrisy completely resonated with me. It helped me deal with my own teenagehood and shaped my taste for horror.
