Midjourney was released less than one year ago. These issues will be addressed.

I couldn't disagree more. I find them beautiful. Haunting even.

Can you honestly say that you can distinguish between AI art and traditional art? It has already proven to have fooled art critics.

I suspect your objection is that it robs humanity of something. That will not be the case. Artists feared photography when it was first created. Human creativity will not go away, nor will it be diminished by AI art.

As far as the argument of "stolen," all art is available for public viewing. And artists borrow from other artists all the time, be it from the visual arts, music, or literature. I could easily point to some work of Bruno Schulz that influenced Ligotti's prose.

I do think that if a certain style is used in the prompt, that artist should be remunerated or they should have the option to disallow their name be used for art in a commercial way.

I just did that for the pictures you posted.

I have little respect for art critics. I respect artists.

It saddens me to hear of your exuberant loveaffair with A.I.
I can only wish you luck, and hope that you find what you seek.

I have found computer generated art techniques to be of some use, such as for visual enhancement in movies, when used with moderation, and not relied too much upon as an easy fix. Generally movies have become much colder aesthetically, through the pervasive use of C.G.I.

Re: A.I. Art Gallery

I like AI art, as long as it's used responsibly. It can enhance artistic expression, but it shouldn't replace it.

Re: A.I. Art Gallery

I am no longer involved in triggering AI Art… but these three were my favourites from when I was doing so.
It was a good journey. I learnt a lot, felt a lot, and the experience has assisted in my changing the way I look at things when I take real Nonscenic photographs. I also trust the individual ‘AI shifting collages’ I triggered for all the individual authors were similarly experienced by the authors — based on my gestalt real-time reviews of their work as such collages were.
