Lovecraftian Horror Calendar

I don't know if this qualifies as 'Ligotti' ephemera or not. I recently acquired THE 1995 LOVECRAFTIAN HORROR CALENDAR, put out by Artefact Publications. The month of February has a bizarre photo illustration/composition for TL's story "The Sect of the Idiot" by H.E. Fassl. Some type of creature is writing the line "Life is a nightmare that leaves its mark upon you in order to prove that it is, in fact, real." The calendar has some wonderful images. My favorite is a fantastic pen and ink drawing by Dave Carson for HPL's story "The Festival."

The artist, Allen Koszowski, alerted me to this item. I have won a few of his auctions on eBay. If you have more than a few small press horror zines, you have probably seen his work - a very talented artist. I invited him to drop by TLO and let us know about his horror publication INHUMAN Magazine. I hope he takes me up on it, he seems like a really nice guy. He also informed me that a certain author (not TL) that we all know had a story accepted for a future issue. I wont mention any names...

The ex-high school teacher, I'm betting. Or Des. Or the Canadian writer.

Re: Lovecraftian Horror Calendar

I guess this isn't a secret after all since it was posted by Matt on his web page (which I didn't know existed until recently). I just happened to stumble across it while Googling.

Matt wrote:
My short story "Snapshots from a Feast" has been accepted by editor and artist Allen Koszowski for publication in Inhuman magazine. This story was previously slated to be published in The Urbanite, but unfortunately that venerable magazine ceased publication early this year.

Man, oh, man. I'd love to see a scan of this. Hint hint!
