Apparently there are now tighter restrictions on external embedding of YouTube content. I will look into resolving this.

It appears that I have managed to fix the problem, but for now it also disables the title extraction for the header. Previous posts will not update automatically, therefore you must edit and save the post for the video to be displayed. I tested this out on a few recent videos and noticed that they do retain titles, but new embeds will not.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does anyone know how to embed a YouTube video in a post? From my Chromebook, I’ve copied and pasted the embed code, but only the code shows, not the actual video. I can’t seem to get an embed code from YouTube on my iPhone. I tried copying and pasting the video link, but that didn’t do anything.

You should be able to just copy and paste in the url (starting with https://www.youtube.com/...) and it will convert to an embedded video. That's how I've always done it.

Edit: just to be clear, it will be converted after you save the post or preview it.
