Obscenely rare test pressing of Current 93's IHASPFTW on eBay. One of six. The holy grail of Current 93 fans.

I repeat my statement: Please don't bid on this. This is my chance to hold an item even Doc Bantham may not even have. A chance of a lifetime.

And yes, if I get it, I may put it back on eBay. Just listening to it would be enough for me. Either that or I'll stick my clear vinyl copy (one of one thousand, fine condition, plays beautifully) there for a stupidly low price so someone here can have it without having to sell their soul for it.

Scratch that. Feel free to bid. Great album. Last bid 50.00 pounds (approx. $90.00 to us bourgeois Americans).

That is too bad, TSO. I had resolved not to bid at this point as a courtesy to your request. I suppose I may yet enter the fray, though I fear it may go for some absurd amount in the end. The fact that the dollar is so weak against the pound certainly does not bode well for American bidders. Test pressings such as these are also quite valued by collectors of C93, even apart from the connection with Ligotti. However, hopefully someone here will manage the task!

I'm happy that someone cares. Yes,it is likely that it will eventually cost some inane amount. That's what I hate about trying to by a rare Ligotti. But I am joyous, because I just purchased a fine hardcover of Noctuary for a steal (lost my paperback a couple months ago, in Poughkeepsie ).

My story NOWHERE TO GO was published by PS PUBLISHING in a book titled POSTSCRIPTS #14 in England in 2008. Let me know if you've read it. I self-published eight short stories on audio-cassette in 1999 titled, fittingly, BARRY WOOD'S SHORT STORIES. And a few other short stories in little obscure publications -- which I forget their titles.

Three of these were made available today on eBay as announced this morning by Durtro News. I could not resist purchasing the last of these via BuyItNow, in spite of the steep investment. I now have examples of the clear, red and test pressings. A completist finds momentary comfort...
