Watched "Kill the Messenger" last week and it was pretty great...
I would also recommend watching "Prisoners" if you haven't already. Soooo good

The Day the Earth Stood Still - 1951

Just watched this Classic Sci-Fi film about an alien that arrives on earth to warn man of his folly of using nuclear weapons, as mankind can soon threaten it's neighboring planets. The alien Klaatu gives mankind the ultimatum; live peacefully or be destroyed. Beautifully shot in black and white and amazing special effects for its time. The titular scene was very unnerving and intense. The don't make Sci-fi films like this anymore. Highly recommended!
