Ligotti's own reference to knots in 'My Work Is Not Yet Done':

Having slept on it, I suppose the element of Ligotti knots missed out in my list above is that of the entangling and disentangling of puppet-strings in his work.

The question of knots in Ligotti…to be or knot to be…it’s a knotty question…puts my stomach in knots…fear knot, dread knot...But what knot to like? My guts are loopy knots and I fear I can knot in good conscience continue…Good Knot, Ladies and Gentlemen.

It has to be done. I can only apologise in advance though I know I will tie myself up in knots doing so---oh DAMN!
