Based on all the evidence, I invented the word ‘Weirdmonger’ with my story of that name published in 1988. I note some unknown organisation recently bought the domain weirdmonger.com and is about to produce a website. This domain was owned on my behalf by Garry Nurrish from 2001 until, I think, around 2010.

Based on all the evidence, too, I invented the word ‘Nemonymous’ in 2001 and nemonymous.com has belonged to me from then and is in my name until at least 2017.

I am currently commentating upon or reappraising my first and last novel published in 2011 by Chomu Press here: Nemonymous Night | THE DES LEWIS DREAMCATCHER LABYRINTH

I, as its original editor/publisher, still hold some copies of all nine of these ground-breaking fiction journals and books that were produced in finite numbers. I am now offering to sign and sell them quite cheaply to anyone who approaches me through my Facebook Page. A chance not to be missed or delayed, without trying to be over-dramatic about it!

(3) Only £20 plus postage for signed copies from me of both the original WEIRDTONGUE and the original hardback THE LAST BALCONY. The latter is on sale on Amazon for hundreds of pounds. The only other Last Balconies left in circulation are my personal copies that I bought before its publisher closed down. I am selling these at no profit to myself.

Just to record here that, in recent weeks, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
I am now on hormone treatment and later will have radiotherapy.
The specialists believe they can handle this cancer.
So, I remain positive, but with my normal life-long fatalism and dark fantasy.

Wow, this is horrible news. I hope you get better; congratulations on remaining positive, since it is one of the tougher things to do in the face of adversity. A big hug from Argentina.

Hi Des. Sorry to hear about the bad news.
A few years ago I bought "The last balcony" directly from you. Last night I picked it up from the shelf and read "Left foot (2)" again. It's one of the few stories in my book shelf that I keep coming back to it.
