Re: Paradoxes from Hell, by Thomas Ligotti (Book)

Whew! Got the hardback. They sold out in less than 2 minutes.

Re: LAIRD BARRON

I'm not so sure Barron's work provides a new evolutionary step for Cosmic Horror as much as it broadens the diversity of the sub-genre. For over 100 years typical weird fiction protagonists have been...

Re: Cadabra Records Announcement

I initially had the Deluxe Edition in my shopping cart, but I don't think the Deluxe comes with the tape (unless I'm mistaken). I really wanted the tape (for obvious reasons). I didn't need two...

Re: Valancourt Books

I'm a big fan of Valancourt books. I thoroughly enjoyed their reprint of Ernest G. Henham's Tenebrae. It's an over-the-top decadent and macabre work brimming with dreary settings, murder,...

Re: Joel Lane

Just ordered Where Furnaces Burn. Even if I wasn't already a huge fan of Joel's work, I'd buy that one because of the evocative cover alone! Looking forward to it.

Re: Is Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’ A Lovecraftian ’2001′?

I didn't care for Prometheus. I was expecting intelligent and moody Sci-Fi. What I got was a dumbed-down Resident Evil in space. Some scenes were laughably absurd. I'd give examples, but I don't...

Re: Been gone for a while...

Welcome back! And congrats on completing grad school. I just completed a degree myself (another one). That's part of the reason I've been a stranger around here lately too.

Re: Off the radar metal album recommendations
