What are your favorite H.P. Lovecraft adaptations?
I created this thread to discuss this because I recently watched The Call of Cthulhu (2005) and The Whisperer in Darkness (2011) by The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society and I love both movies dearly and I believe they should get all the attention they can get.
I also strongly recommend the short film The Music of Erich Zann (1980), which can be seen in YouTube: Do you have any others to recommend? I mean direct adaptations, not movies like At the Mouths of Madness, which is also great. | |||||||||||
Your fall should be like the fall of mountains. But I was before mountains. I was in the beginning, and shall be forever. The first and the last. The world come full circle. I am not the wheel. I am the hand that turns the wheel. I am Time, the Destroyer. I was the wind and the stars before this. Before planets. Before heaven and hell. And when all is done, I will be wind again, to blow this world as dust back into endless space. To me the coming and going of Man is as nothing.
