I rather took against Darrell Schweitzer because he seemed so offended by my contributions to 'Crypt of Cthulhu'.

Odalisque, I remember at least one of your stories from Crypt. It had a nice Ligotti-like feel to it. I thought it quite good.

I can recall Crypt of Cthulhu publishing 2 pieces of fiction from me and three non-fiction (plus some letters). The fiction comprised (titles from memory):
  • The Kindly Elder
  • Princess of the Black Asteroid

The non-fiction (titles, again, from memory):
  • Who killed St John? (Essay on The Hound.)
  • St John's Assassin Bites Back (Second Essay on The Hound -- in answer to criticisms, probably at least some of them from Mr Schweitzer.)
  • Lovecraft and the Greatest Achievement (I think the piece that most annoyed the irascible Mr Schweitzer.)

There is no product page yet but some weeks ago PS Publishing announced a big retrospective.

I bought Refugees From An Imaginary Country a while ago, which was a previous retrospective. It was expanded into a ebook Megapack and I imagine the upcoming book will expand on that?

Even if this new book is an expansion, Refugees has nice Stephen Fabian art which I doubt will be in the new book.

Schweitzer on himself, Wolfe, Dunsany, brief mention of Ligotti and many others. Good interview.

PS Publishing put out a two volume retrospective recently.
