There are conventions where you might encounter.
I have never attended a single one, and don’t know which offer a better lineup of writers as opposed to horror movie stars. Also, I don’t know if current conventions are like factory assembly lines.
Others could weigh in on this.
There are certainly writers here at TLO. You could always shoot them a PM. Tell them what works of theirs you especially enjoyed. If something resonated.
If I do get a response, I try to keep exchanges brief. Most of these folks are busy, and don’t want a pen pal correspondence, no matter how insightful you are.
Back in the day, I used to write them letters. Boy, did I write letters! That was a different era, however. I ought to write a couple lines about that.
Anyway, just my 2 cents. Many of the current crop are shuffling along in age.
