Fear X
Has anyone else seen this creepy film? What were your impressions?
I haven't had an 'aesthetic experience' with film for years, then I saw this. I admit I came close to being teared up as the credits rolled. I was moved by the profound bleakness of this film, and it reminded me immensely of the mood of Ligotti's fiction. I found the first half of the movie slow-moving, and at first, derivative and predictable, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Darkest film I've seen since 'Jacob's Ladder'. | |||||||||||
