Infinity Pool reminded me a lot of that episode of Mad Men where Don is on business/holiday and he winds up with these rich eccentrics and faints by the poolside and there's a really sickly feeling about it all. Except this is way more nightmarish.

Pearl - It's kind of amazing to behold Mia Goth using all her facial muscles. Really good, I don't think many other actors could have carried this off so well.

John Wick 4 - I think the series has got progressively better with each film. The action, settings and how they're filmed overwhelms any qualms I have. Quite amazing at times.

Mia has chosen some very good horror movie roles in recent years. She's becoming a favorite. A Cure for Wellness, Suspiria, X, Pearl, and The Infinity Pool. I enjoyed all of them.

Dinner In America was getting compared to Wellcome To The Dollhouse and there are similarities but it's a lot more conventional, near cliched at points but I loved Emily Skeggs in it so much, all the little shifts in her facial expressions, haven't loved a film character this much in a long time. Skeggs has been getting award recognition for other films I haven't seen so I'll keep an eye out for her.

I saw Children Of Paradise because Jessica Amanda Salmonson likes it so much. It carries itself very well through 3 hours and I liked Arletty a lot. Make sure you see the full version.

I did see that. It was decent. I forgot the movie The Survivalist. A Sci-Fi or post-apocalypse movie. I thought it was very good.
