Wm. Butler Yeats

This poem/reading is so good, I had to share.

Don't even watch the video--close your eyes.

Re: Wm. Butler Yeats

Quite wonderful. According to ye YouTube description, the voice is that of the poet himself. Going to share on Facebook. One of the finest biographies I've ever read are ye two volumes on Yeats by R. F. Foster.

"We work in the dark -- we do what we can -- we give what we have. Our doubt is our passion and our passion is our task. The rest is the madness of art."
--Henry James (1843-1916)

Thanks for the tip re: Foster's WBY biography.

By the way, I was specifically searching for William Butler Yeats reading this very poem and considered myself quite lucky to find this--I just wish that I had wrote the poem itself myself.:P

It is so very now
\perhaps it is for all time.
