It feels strange to see the Washington Post talking about (largely) small press weird fiction. And it's gratifying to know that all the recent publications mentioned in the article are patiently awaiting my attentions at home. I'd been putting of The House of Silence, in particular, in order to have a chance to read The House on the Borderlands first. Between the arrival of my Swan River edition on Monday and this article, it seems the universe is gesturing unsubtly at what books need to be moved to the top of my reading pile.
